LA IMAGEN TÁCITA: UNA APROXIMACIÓN A LA IMAGEN CINEMATOGRÁFICA

Sandra Pinardi

How can the aesthetic image survive in a daily routine -ours- which in itself is aestheticized, in more than one sense? Sandra Pinardi characterizes the aesthetic image -understood as a space of differentiation or differing, of interruption with regard to normalized communicational experience- as that which is inherent in the tacit image: the written image whose meaning, hard to grasp and different, denies the reification of the code. Pinardi's text proposes a description, both formal and semantic, of the tacit image and, simultaneously, an exhibition of its procedural and discotinuous character, as this is done in a film by Wim Wenders: To the End of the World which does not exhaust itself in what it shows, because its appearance is only one aspect of a totality that transcends it.
